The 3 Skincare 3 Makeup Products kinda day!

Is it too late to state that its summer? Hope not! Anyhow, I thought I'd do the quickest skincare and makeup consumption video ever in which I'd try to stick to the most essential refined list of items to use, and that is 3 per category!

For my skin, I knew I needed to have a clean, refreshed, and protected skin! that means three things, a cleanser, a hydrating toner/mist, and sunscreen! For my summer lazy days, I don't feel like going all out with a cleansing balm during the day, I want something that will do its job as quickly as possible, so micellar cleansing water is my cleanser of choice. A great affordable one is actually the Garnier Micellar Water. Put it on a cotton pad, run it all over your face, and BAM, you're done. Because the weather is close to unbearable, I want something that's refreshing, so that it'll motivate me to do the rest of the brief steps ahead. I've been particularly enjoying the Avene Thermal Spring Water as a quick mist of refreshing goodness, its hydrating and cooling and UH soo good! Lastly, I need a two in one step that'll protect my skin from the evil rays and moisturize my skin at the same time, so an SPF lotion is my best friend, and I like a high SPF because the Mediterranean climate can be quite hot! And so I opted for another Avene product again, and its the SPF 50 broad spectrum sunscreen which can be used on the body and the face, and is actually water resistant! Nice, sufficient, and Simple, a motto for life!

As for my need to look presentable, which is a need I suggest avoiding for as long as you can, I also need it to be #NiceSufficientAndSimple! I need an even skin tone, wide open eyes, and some color on my cheeks and lips! But seriously, I don't need more than three products! Some people use BB creams or tinted moisturizers, I use a concealer to even things out, hide my dark circles, any blemishes, or redness! I don't thing a tinted moisturizer can do all that I need it to do! So I apply concealer only on my problem areas, and leave the rest of my face free! I actually blend with my fingers, I don't think a brush is necessary for a quick look anyway! The next thing that'll perk my face up in a matter of seconds is mascara! It makes my eyes look wide open and alert, no need for all the 9 yards of eyeshadows and stuff, just mascara! And to prevent my face from looking sallow, I opt for a cheek product! Now again, I don't want to use brushes for a quick look, so a cream/liquid product is nice because I can apply it with my fingers, and it can double up as a lip color! No brushes, basic, musts, and multitasks, that's a summer makeup motto for life readily available for your use!

And here's a picture of the products and the final result! Messy buns and t-shirts is a perfect outfit for our presentable undone faces, don't you think??

Mind Blowing Product #5: Tom Ford Eye Color Quad in 05 Silvered Topaz

Isn't she lovely, isn't she wonderful!

Now I get it! Tom Ford, you have done the world a whole lotta good, AGAIN!  Silvered Topaz has rapidly become one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE eyeshadow palettes in the history of makeup! And the thing I'm mostly surprised by is that you know, at the end of the day, it is just a plain taupe based color selection (well, not plain, but somewhat basic, shade-wise, if you know what I mean), who would have guessed that I would love a taupe palette!

Silvered Topaz has 2 slightly shimmery but more satiny shades, a real hardcore glitter, and a matte. So for finishes variety, Mr Ford gets an A+! As for pigmentation, these shades are packed full with pigment, they are rich and intense, yet soft and uplifting, again, an A+ without a doubt! I must also tip my hat to Mr. Ford for scoring another A(-) in the no fallout department, and that baby (-) is just because I found a couple specks of glitter on my face while applying the glitter! But really, I can put a tissue underneath, or do my foundation later, its just no big deal!

As for the particular shades in the palette, it includes, as mentioned 4 shades. It has a matte brown, a glittery silver champagne, a frosty satiny silver with what I feel like a bit of blue and green mixed into it, somehow (might just be my imagination), and then a mauve rosy taupe. The colors go really well together and they blend superbly together as well as on their lonesome selves! They give a really "shiny" effect, especially if you base the look on the two satin finished shades, which is what I have done during the time of my having it! The matte brown can be used as a liner too, which I like for daytime purposes, but if I want to jazz it up a notch, I'll blend it through the outer V and the outer part of my crease/socket area!

terrible lighting: taken at 4 am! #Working7DaysAWeek

In a nutshell, this is a palette that'll make you struggle to put it down, its the kind you cant help but feel smitten by it every time you use it! I didn't even expect to love it when I asked my aunt to buy it for me from the states, I was practically gambling, and I won! I love it so much and I give it an A+++++++...! You'll see me using this in plenty of tutorials in the future! And to end, I have to publicly ask Mr. Ford to make me a MRS. Ford too, I freaking love this man!
