Mind Blowing Product #5: Tom Ford Eye Color Quad in 05 Silvered Topaz

Isn't she lovely, isn't she wonderful!

Now I get it! Tom Ford, you have done the world a whole lotta good, AGAIN!  Silvered Topaz has rapidly become one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE eyeshadow palettes in the history of makeup! And the thing I'm mostly surprised by is that you know, at the end of the day, it is just a plain taupe based color selection (well, not plain, but somewhat basic, shade-wise, if you know what I mean), who would have guessed that I would love a taupe palette!

Silvered Topaz has 2 slightly shimmery but more satiny shades, a real hardcore glitter, and a matte. So for finishes variety, Mr Ford gets an A+! As for pigmentation, these shades are packed full with pigment, they are rich and intense, yet soft and uplifting, again, an A+ without a doubt! I must also tip my hat to Mr. Ford for scoring another A(-) in the no fallout department, and that baby (-) is just because I found a couple specks of glitter on my face while applying the glitter! But really, I can put a tissue underneath, or do my foundation later, its just no big deal!

As for the particular shades in the palette, it includes, as mentioned 4 shades. It has a matte brown, a glittery silver champagne, a frosty satiny silver with what I feel like a bit of blue and green mixed into it, somehow (might just be my imagination), and then a mauve rosy taupe. The colors go really well together and they blend superbly together as well as on their lonesome selves! They give a really "shiny" effect, especially if you base the look on the two satin finished shades, which is what I have done during the time of my having it! The matte brown can be used as a liner too, which I like for daytime purposes, but if I want to jazz it up a notch, I'll blend it through the outer V and the outer part of my crease/socket area!

terrible lighting: taken at 4 am! #Working7DaysAWeek

In a nutshell, this is a palette that'll make you struggle to put it down, its the kind you cant help but feel smitten by it every time you use it! I didn't even expect to love it when I asked my aunt to buy it for me from the states, I was practically gambling, and I won! I love it so much and I give it an A+++++++...! You'll see me using this in plenty of tutorials in the future! And to end, I have to publicly ask Mr. Ford to make me a MRS. Ford too, I freaking love this man!

Tom Ford: Titanium Smoke & Silvered Topaz

My Tom Ford obsession just keeps on growing! apparently, what people say about Tom Ford's beauty line is true, it is highly addictive, once you take a bite, you just want to get the whole thing!

I might have stated that I was not considering getting any more Tom Ford eyeshadows until I get the chance to play with them in person, but that must have been a clear evidence of my lying nature! I am just a chronic liar when it comes to my beauty purchases! But leaving my sins aside, I have purchased two very exciting quads! Silvered Topaz and the infamous Titanium Smoke!

I have just got them, I haven't used them yet, but I did swatch some shades that I was looking forward using! Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of swatches, but a little bit of patience is all you need for you will definitely be hearing more about them in the future! I'll show you what they look like, and before I go, I must tell you that I think I will be wearing Silvered Topaz for my university graduation ceremony in 13 days to come :)

Titanium Smoke is the one with the dark black and grey, Titanium Smoke is the one with taupe and brown

Mindblowing Product #4: First Nars Blush in Sin

At last, I finally got the one Nars blush that makes my mouth drool, Sin!

this packaging gets dirty before you know it!

Plums are my kinda color, I find myself gravitating toward either plummy blushes or coral blushes, and since I already have enough coral blushes for multiple faces, but I only have one true plum, I thought another plum blush is necessary. So I finally got another plummy shade to add to my collection!

Alright so I opened the pan immediately and I started swatching it, and I swear my heart skipped a beat! The shade is so darn beautiful in person, and if you think online swatches do it justice, you are just mistaken! I mean... look at it, its even more beautiful than this!

And the beautiful thing about this shade is that it is shimmery and it kinda highlights at the same time! The plum blush I had before is semi matte so they both are almost entirely different, and for reference, I am talking about the Dior blush in Brown Milly which I have already discussed!

Left  to right: Sin, Brown Milly

This is a very pigmented formula, those who think Nars blushes are pigmented weren't exaggerating, it seems! You don't need to drench your product with this powder blush to get it to show!
Lets talk a little bit about the longevity of this babe! This is an incredibly long lasting formula that you can truly rely on, this babe wont leave your face except when you want it to!
And the best part again is that it is a beautiful shimmery blush that looks... ummm, mature? I mean, it doesn't look cheap, it looks classy and sophisticated, and the shimmers aren't chunky and weird!

Overall, I think I should have been born with this on my cheeks! I literally find it hard not to wear this on daily basis! my favorite Tom Ford blush has some competition nowadays!

On any regards, if you don't have a Nars blush, I really recommend this one, I think its beautiful all year round, and I also think that it is not INSANELY priced like the Tom Ford ones are! REALLY LOVE THIS BABE!

Top 10 Beauty Summer Must Haves Videos

Enjoy :)

An Upcoming Tutorial: PLUMS

I love plumes, and I love Guerlain Les Bois De Rose quad so so much! to declare my love even more, I decided to do yet another "tutorial" using this particular quad and a combination of other things I love, such as my favorite lipstick of all time, Guerlain Shine Automatique in 265 Pao Rosa!
I had already planned to do some "tutorials" using some of the new items I got last month, and to make that happen, I will be using the new foundation brush, my new Nars blush in Sin, and the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Metallic Pomegranate, as well as the Maybelline Rocket Mascara and possibly the liquid liner I detest!

Anyway, to be honest, the focal point of this tutorial is to have an excuse to wear plummy shades again after wearing them constantly for about a week thanks to the gorgeous Metallic Pomegranate and Sin!

Here's a sneak peek into the upcoming tutorial! GET EXCITED!
