I Found a Moisturizer!

At last, I have finally found a moisturizer that satisfies my needs. I have tried many many moisturizers, did not like most of them, but now I finally found one that I love. It is the Dior Hydra Life Pro-Youth Silk Creme. According to the saleswoman at the counter, this is identical to the Dior Hydra Life Comfort Creme, which was the latest one that I tried. This cream is thicker than what I would have intuitively gravitated to, but it does a great job at hydrating my skin, which is my main concern, because I've been suffering from dry patches on my cheeks, not severely dry and painful, but disturbing, and nothing seemed to help.
The first thing that I want to talk about is actually negative, but luckily its just packaging. The jar is really beautiful, it has a stopper to kind of reduce the product's exposure to air, I assume, and that's also really nice. But at the same time this product is insanely heavy. I understand that its glass, but I feel like I do some weightlifting with it, which is not really a good thing for me. But, just like I said, it is only packaging, and what really matters is what's inside this heavy jar.
The consistency is definitely on the heavy side, I would have preferred one that is smoother and more gel like, but none of the products I tried gave my skin enough hydration. I think that it is thick enough that if you put it on your hand, it won't move. But I guess that the downside would be that in the morning, this would probably take more time to fully absorb, which means that if you want to wear foundation, you'll probably have to wait a little bit for that. But, I would do anything to provide my face with the hydration it needs, therefore, and I don't mind.
The jar contains 50ml, which is really decent. And due to the fact the the moisturizer itself is on the heavy side, a little goes such a long way, and I imagine that this will last for like 4 months, which is not bad at all. It spreads easily and feels nice as it is being massaged into the skin. I feel that if this is too heavy during the day, this will make a great night cream, it is truly wonderful.

Dior Gentle Foaming Cleanser With Peony Extract (for dry/sensitive skin)

Last week, I picked up a foaming cleanser for the first time. I had a couple samples of the YSL Forever Youth Liberator cleansing foam, and I really enjoyed it, and therefore, I decided to give my gel cleanser by Decleor to my mother, and buy myself a new one. I would have probably bought the YSL one, but the problem is that there is no YSL counter nearby, so I had to settle for a different foaming cleanser. And since I really like Dior's skincare products, I thought I should probably get one from there. And that is the story behind my purchase (which I'll probably do a haul video about, so don't forget to check it out).
I do like this cleanser, its not bad, but I wanted something that lathers, something that would feel more like soap, I guess. This does not lather at all, I have tried different methods over the last week, but I just never ever lathers up. If this was my main concern, I would have probably returned it. But I think that this cleanser is good at cleansing, yet not drying out my skin, which I must say that I have experienced it with the Decleor cleanser as well as the YSL cleanser. It feels nice on the skin, and it actually smells nice, very similar to my Dior Gentle Exfoliant. The scent is very light and toned down, I dont think it is overpowering at all, in fact I wouldn't have minded the scent being a little more obvious, but that is not important to me. What I also like about it is that it does a great job at cleansing my face and taking off everything, from makeup, to actual environmental dirt. It is so great at clearing up the skin that I only use my makeup remover after cleansing, and the reason being is that normally, with foundation, it is not the easiest thing to take off makeup, but this cleanser makes it so easy, that I go over my face lightly, but focus more on my neck and decollete. What is also wonderful about it is that I have tried it on my eyes, and it doesn't hurt at all, as long as you keep them closed until you rinse your face completely.
So, overall, I do recommend this cleanser at all, even though I would have enjoyed some lathering up, but I don't think its that important, not when the product does so many great things to your face. However, next time I want to purchase a foaming cleanser, I would definitely check something that lathers, mainly because of curiosity, but if I end up not liking it, I'll probably just repurchase this cleansing foam.

My Favorite SkinCare Product of ALL TIME!

The title says it all, it is the best skincare thing that you can get your dehydrated skin, its the most moisturizing, pleasant, and nourishing thing in the whole wide world.

ITS THE GUERLAIN SUPER AQUA-LOTION REPLUMPING TONER-HYDRATION, RADIANCE

I love this thing so much, and it has really done great things for my skin. To start, I must say that this is not meant to cleanse your face, but its meant to hydrate, plump. and give your face a healthy look. I had some really dehydrated spots on my cheeks, and like after the first day of using this (morning+night), they have completely vanished, like magic! I cannot rave enough about it, it makes my skin glow, it makes all the other skincare items I use afterwards feel so much better, and go a lot smoother than ever. I think this is a miracle worker. the only downside I can think of is the price, it's quite expensive, but I am honestly hooked on it, and I will repurchase this over and over and over again. I only use half a pump per use, and its enough to go over my entire face as well as down my neck, its awesome, and the great thing is the the pump is quite control friendly, meaning that it is easy to control the amount of product you get. It can be used on a cotton pad, or you can just apply it with your own hands, which I prefer. The smell  is quite pleasant, even when I tried it on my mother, she picked up on it and admired the scent, however, its not too strong and overwhelming, it feels fresh, and it leaves your face looking quite glowy and healthy looking, and very soft and smooth, its incredible. I have never loved any of my skincare items this much, nor have I felt such a pleasant feeling after application. I am very happy I finally got it, and  out of all of the skincare items I own, this is the one I most advise people to try, especially people with dry-normal skin, because I dont know how this will work on people with oilier skin types, but what I do know is that even those with oily skin need hydration, and this is truly amazing at providing the skin with it. I definitely recommend it, and I will absolutely repurchase this as long as its in the market, and I think my mother really loved it as well!

In terms of packaging, it comes in a plastic bottle, you can see how much you have left, which is awesome for people who are hooked on this and cant survive a day without it. The pump as I mentioned is quite nice because it is easy to control, and what is even better is that it can be turned on a lock mode, which means that it'll be great for travel. Its quite lightweight as well. The lid isnt the most secure one, but since the pump can be locked, it's not that big of a problem. I think the packaging could have been made out of glass, since after all it is a luxury product, and luxury brands such as Guerlain are famous for their elaborate, chic, and rather hefty packaging, but I think the product looks chic regardless, and with skincare items, packaging is less important for me.

Overall, I think this is a perfect toner, it gives you everything that you could have asked for and more, and it is definitely worth every penny.

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters Review

I have finally purchased two of the Lip Butters, #15 Tutti Frutti, and #75 Cherry Tart. The colors are truly beautiful, well pigmented, and they do feel nice on the lips. I think they're easy to wear, and the color selection is pretty awesome. However, I honestly don't like the product itself. I do get why many people are talking about them, because after all, the product is beautiful on the lips, but I just really hate it. And here are the reasons why I hate it.

First let me start by telling you about how agonizing the packaging is. It looks pretty, and the fact the the caps are color coded is awesome. But it takes some serious muscles to get it to open. I need to push really hard to open it. I doesn't have like a secret button to open it, you literally just have to push, and its just like I said, agonizing. I might be the only one who would mention such thing, but if I want to touch up during the day, I don't want a product that is so difficult to open.
Second of all, its still spring, and the real heat is still to come, but for some reason, the product just melts all over the tube. So basically it makes the product look dirty, and I hate having my makeup look that way. I don't know what to expect during the summer, because the product has already shown a bad reaction to hot weather, and it will only get warmer and warmer during the summer. I guess this means that this product has low life expectancy, I don't think it will last over 4-6 months, which really sucks for me.
The third reason is that the color does not last, even without eating. I know its a lip butter, but just like I said in the first reason, if the product is so hard to open, then maybe it shouldn't be opened often, and I feel the need to reapply this every half an hour, which really sucks, because then maybe the packaging should have been much easier to use!

I was initially interested in purchasing more, but I do not recommend them, and I think that there are better alternatives out there, especially now, sheer lip products, or tinted ones, seem to be popular.
